We all know how dangerous an untreated urinary tract infection (UTI) can be. UTIs left untreated will lead to hospitalisation from a kidney infection or life-threatening sepsis.

So, checking for a UTI when you have symptoms is vital, but when it’s a false alarm you end up wasting your time and money taking unnecessary trips to the doctor. But not anymore!

-easily test for a UTI yourself without going to the doctor,

-get an accurate result within two minutes, and

-know if you have a UTI and require medical treatment.

Urinalysis UTI test strips have 2 test areas, these detecting; leucocytes and nitrites in the urine. Positive results (colour change) for both test areas indicates a urinary tract infection.
